The roasted meat is juicy and flavorful, with just the right balance of sweet and savory flavors. This is one of those meals that is sure to impress!
Can Apple Glazed Pork Tenderloin Be Made in the Slow Cooker?
Yes. It is still recommended to fry the pork tenderloin and season it the same way. Place in a slow cooker and cook on low for about 4 hours, or until the internal temperature of the roast reaches 145°F. Remove from slow cooker and let rest on plate 3-5 minutes while glaze is prepared.
Service suggestion:
Like any roast, this dish pairs well with most traditional side dishes. We love it with salad and potatoes, either baked or mashed. Cooked vegetables like green beans and asparagus are delicious too, and don’t forget the rolls – they’re an easy win!
Meat Thermometer:
A meat thermometer is a great piece of equipment to add to your kitchen toolbox. We recommend buying one. If you don’t have any on hand, be sure to respect the baking time and not exceed it, or it will result in drying out.
Cooking Tips:
If you want your pork to have the best chance of retaining a lot of moisture, chop some apples and onions to add to your roasting pan.

Storage and Reheating Instructions:
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Reheat, wrapped in foil, in an oven preheated to 325 degrees Fahrenheit, until heated through.

raw material
Roast pork
- 1 2 to 3 lbs pork left trimmed and tied
- 1 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoon dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
Apple Glaze
- 2 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon corn starch
- 1 cup Apple juice
- 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
instruct
-
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Season the pork tenderloin with salt and pepper.
-
Heat olive oil in an oven-safe thick skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the tenderloins in the skillet until browned on all sides, about 2 to 3 minutes per side.
-
In a small bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard and apple cider vinegar. Brush with pork roast.
-
Place the skillet in the oven and cook the pork to an internal temperature of 145 degrees, about 30 to 40 minutes, depending on the size of the roast. Use a probe thermometer to ensure accuracy.
-
Meanwhile, make the apple glaze by melting the butter in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Stir in the cornstarch until all the white specks are absorbed. Pour in the apple juice and stir in the Dijon mustard, brown sugar, and apple cider vinegar. Keep stirring until the sauce thickens, this should only take a few minutes.
-
Remove the pork from the oven and let it rest for about 5 minutes before slicing.
-
Slice the meat and serve hot with the apple glaze.
