raw material
- 1 pound thick cut bacon cut into 2-inch pieces
- 1/2 sweet onion slice
- 1/3 cup brown sugar tightly packed
- 4 cup beef soup
- 2 tablespoon Honey
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
- 2 tablespoon butter

Place bacon in a large heavy skillet over medium heat. Cook for 10 to 15 minutes, until the fat is tender.

Add onion and sauté until onion softens, about 5 minutes.

Stir in brown sugar.

Pour in 1 cup beef broth. Simmer and simmer until the mixture has reduced and thickened, about 10 minutes.

Pour in another cup of beef broth. Simmer until mixture reduces, about 10 minutes. Continue this process until all the beef broth is used up.

Transfer bacon mixture to a blender. Add honey, paprika and black pepper. Stir for about 30 seconds. The mixture should be chunky, not smooth.

Stir in butter until melted. Use immediately or transfer to an airtight container. Refrigerate for up to 2 weeks. Warm up before use.
