Fish tacos are one of our family’s favorite dinners. Don’t be intimidated by the long list of ingredients, because this recipe is super easy and only takes 20 minutes to make. When buying fish, ask to smell the fish you are buying. If it smells like the ocean or fish, ask for another piece. I prefer to buy and use my fish within 24 hours. This way you can ensure the freshest, tastiest meal possible. It can also be purchased pre-frozen. Just use your nose to pick out the best piece.

Beer tacos are always a hit, but what about those who don’t use alcohol (or hate beer) in their cooking? I have the perfect solution for you. Use club soda as a direct substitute. In this recipe, I used root beer, but I’ve also used Dr. Pepper, Coke, and Sprite with great results. I actually prefer the taste of soda fish!
