  • 1 pound Ground beef
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 white onion diced
  • 8 ounce sliced ​​mushrooms

  • 6 oz can ketchup
  • 28 oz can crushed tomatoes

  • 1 tablespoon dried basil
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder

  • 1 pound ziti pasta
  • 8 ounce cream cheese soften
  • 8 ounce ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup Freshly grated Parmesan cheese

  • Pour olive oil into a large, deep skillet and heat over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and brown, 5 minutes. Add diced onions and mushrooms (optional). Saute for 5 to 7 minutes, until the onion is soft and translucent and the ground beef is cooked through.

  • Add garlic and tomato paste and roast for 2 minutes. Pour in crushed tomatoes and tomato paste. Add the basil, oregano, salt and pepper and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to low and simmer until pasta is done.

  • Cook pasta in boiling water according to package directions. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  • Prepare the cheese topping by combining the cream cheese, ricotta, and Parmesan in a small mixing bowl. Blend together until smooth.

  • When the pasta is done, add it to the bolognese and stir to combine. Pour it into a lightly greased 9×13 pan. Spread cheese mixture over pasta.

  • Bake uncovered for 20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Serve hot.
