What is Jordan Marsh?

Jordan Marsh is a now-defunct department store chain. They sell high-end fashion, but are also known for their blueberry muffins from the in-store café. This recipe is based on the original Jordan Marsh Blueberry Muffins.

Can you use frozen blueberries for blueberry muffins?

Yes, you can! Thaw the berries by rinsing them in cold water. Pat them dry. You want to remove as much excess moisture as possible before using them in this muffin recipe.

How to prevent muffins from sticking:

You can bake muffins directly in the muffin tins, or use paper liners. To prevent the muffins from sticking, use a nonstick pan and lightly coat the pan with nonstick cooking spray. If using liners, spray the liners with a light coat of nonstick cooking spray to keep the muffins from sticking to the wrappers.
