  • Which Apples are Best for Baking?

    There are hundreds of varieties of apples, so it can be difficult to know which one to buy. There are many common apples that are great for baking.green apple or something Granny Smith Provides a delicious tart flavor and is perfect for baking.Other yellow and red varieties suitable for baking include Golden Delicious, Honey Crisp, Braeburn, Jonathan, Fuji and Pink Lady.   • What if I don’t have a stand mixer? To make the dough by hand:

    You don’t need to rely on a stand mixer to make cinnamon rolls. If you want to make it by hand, just stir it with a spoon first, then knead it with your hands. Knead until all the flour is combined and/or the dough is soft and slightly sticky to the touch. You can even let your bread machine do the job and add all your ingredients to the dough cycle. Remove after kneading and continue with the rest of the recipe.

  • Flour selection:

    You can use all purpose flour or bread flour. There’s no significant difference between the two, so you can use whichever is convenient for you.

  • Dough consistency:

    The dough should be a little sticky, but still very soft and pliable. It should just barely stick to the bowl. When adding flour, it’s better not to follow the feel of the dough exactly than to follow the recipe.

raw material

dough

  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1 tablespoon instant dry yeast
  • 2 tablespoon White sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 3 tablespoon salted butter soften
  • 1 big Egg
  • 3 cup all purpose flour

filling

  • 1/2 cup salted butter soften
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1-2 tablespoon ground cinnamon*
  • 2 Moderate Granny Smith Apples cored and chopped
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

glaze

  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans Elective

instruct

  • In the bowl of a stand mixer, combine warm milk, yeast, sugar, salt, butter, and eggs. Add the flour. Using the dough hook, turn the mixer to low speed.

  • Once the flour begins to incorporate into the dough, increase the speed to medium. Add more flour as needed to pull the dough away from the sides of the bowl. The dough mixture should be soft and sticky, but not stick to your hands. Add more or less flour until the dough reaches the desired consistency.

  • Transfer dough to a lightly greased mixing bowl. Cover with a towel and let rise until doubled in size, about 1 hour.

  • Lightly grease a baking sheet. Punch down the dough and roll out to a 12-inch by 18-inch rectangle.

  • Spread 1/2 cup softened butter evenly over dough, leaving 1/4 inch around edges. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle on top of the butter. Sprinkle the chopped apples evenly over the sugar mixture. Finally, drizzle 1/2 cup of the caramel sauce on top.

  • Roll up tightly lengthwise so you have one long roll. Using regular dental floss or a sharp knife, cut dough into 12 one-inch slices.

  • Gently place slices on a 9×13 pan. Cover and let rise for 30 to 45 minutes.

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake the rolls for about 18-22 minutes, until the tops are just kissed brown and the apples are tender.

  • Drizzle remaining 1/2 cup caramel sauce over rolls while warm. Sprinkle with chopped nuts (optional). Serve immediately or chill and store. Leave on for 3 to 5 days.

*If you want a more pronounced caramel apple flavor than cinnamon rolls, use 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon. For a cinnamon roll flavor with caramel apple flavor, use 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon.
