Cheddar Stuffed Sriracha Pretzel Bites are one of the best appetizers ever. It’s hard to beat gooey melted cheddar in a soft and chewy Sriracha-flavored pretzel.
Seriously, can you really beat gooey melted cheddar in soft and chewy Sriracha-flavored pretzels? We think not! This is one of our favorite appetizers! This is one recipe you’ll instantly fall in love with and want to share with all your spicy-loving friends and family right away. You get chewy pretzel bread with gooey cheese inside, and the dough itself has a spicy sriracha sauce and a coating on the outside too. Win, win, win! This is perfect party food.
Worried they’re too hard to make? forget about it. These babies are super easy to make! The dough only needs a few ingredients and just rests while you prepare everything else. Then, stuff a dollop of cheddar cheese into it and roll it into a ball. The dough is boiled in baking soda water for 60 seconds, giving it a soft pretzel texture. Don’t skip the boiling step. Getting the texture right in pretzel making is very important. Then it’s ready to bake!

Bread Machine Instructions:
Don’t have a stand mixer, or just love the ease of use of a bread machine? We get it. To make pretzel dough in a bread machine, simply add water, yeast, brown sugar, 2 tablespoons Sriracha, and flour to the bread machine, then select the dough setting. When the dough cycle is complete, remove the dough and cut into walnut-sized pieces, then add the cheese and continue with the recipe.
-
Can Cheddar Stuffed Sriracha Pretzels be dairy free?
Yes! Just substitute your favorite dairy-free cheese for the cheddar. Not all plant-based cheeses are made equally, so it’s best to use a brand known for its ability to melt.
-
Storage and Reheating Instructions:
These are best eaten the same day, but will keep for 3-4 days in the refrigerator. Alternatively, you can freeze leftovers for up to 3 months. When ready to serve, remove from refrigerator and bake in preheated oven at 350°F for 5-8 minutes, until warmed through.
