For this Chocolate Pumpkin Pie, I topped the butternut squash with a delicious chocolate ganache and filled it with a chocolate chip cookie crust for a spin on the classic pumpkin pie.
Hi, I’m Kevin from Kevin is cooking. Special thanks to Rachel for letting me contribute to Full Time Chef here. For today’s post, I’m sharing this Chocolate Pumpkin Pie. Instead of swirling the chocolate in the pumpkin filling, I decided to layer the chocolate ganache on top and serve it with a chocolate chip cookie crust for a delicious spin on the classic pumpkin pie.
Rock the holiday dessert table with this!
So what’s your favorite dessert for the upcoming holidays?Of course there are traditional ones like Rachel’s Easy Pumpkin Pie, even her Pecan Pralines It might be on the menu, but this Chocolate Pumpkin Pie is definitely worth considering.
If you love chocolate like I do then this is a great choice. This combines dark chocolate with a ganache on top and delicious milk chocolate drizzled on top.
The flavors of the butternut squash filling are perfectly balanced and pair well with the chocolate wafer cookie crust in place of the traditional graham cracker crust.
This is great!
During festivals, family gatherings, parties, in addition to traditional desserts, sometimes I like to prepare a variety of desserts for everyone to try.
I look forward to a holiday meal with that dish. You know that, it has to be there or it wouldn’t be Thanksgiving or Christmas or without it, right? So make these to keep everyone happy and put this Chocolate Pumpkin Pie on the holiday menu too. You never know, you might start a new tradition!
