I tried the chunky strawberry bowl at Jamba Juice a few months ago. It was love at first sight. I know I can easily make it at home and it has become one of my favorite breakfasts. Thick, icy strawberry puree that tastes a bit like ice cream for breakfast. I love the way the granola blends together and provides a crunch. I even love the smooth and firm texture of the bananas contrasted with the strawberry puree. Yes, I love this breakfast. It’s a great way to start the day and it makes me feel healthy and refreshed.
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1/4 cup greek yogurt
- 1-2 tuberculosis sugar* or honey
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 3 tuberculosis peanut butter
- 1/2 cup granola bar
- 1 banana slice
Place almond milk, Greek yogurt, sugar, strawberries, and peanut butter in a Blendtec or other high powered blender. Pulse until mostly smooth with a few small lumps. The mixture will resemble a very thick smoothie.
Scrape strawberry mixture into bowl. Top with granola and sliced bananas.
You can use 1 or 2 tablespoons of sugar or honey, depending on how sweet you like it.
