This is not your regular ranch dressing, but a cool ranch dressing! Ranch dressing is life. Seriously everyone, you can dip anything in the ranch and it’ll be better in no time. But after decades of ranch obsession, we decided to experiment with the flavors a bit and try to improve the perfection. This Cilantro Lime Ranch Dressing brings extra zest and heat for a fun twist on a classic sauce.
Can I use a ranch seasoning packet?
Use ranch dip packets to substitute garlic, onion, salt and pepper. Not all ranch dip packets are created equal, and some have added preservatives, thickeners or sugar.
Lime Juice:
Fresh squeezed lime juice is always the best. However, you can always substitute 2 tablespoons of store-bought bottled lime juice.
What if my dressing is too thick?
Adding a little milk or buttermilk thins out the dressing, but also shortens the shelf life as the milk expires.
Can I make cilantro ranch dressing without a blender?
Using a blender or food processor works even better because of the salsa and cilantro. In theory, if you chop the cilantro very finely, you can always make it by hand, but if you don’t blend it, it won’t come together very well.

Spice Grade:
You have complete control over the spice level in this recipe with the salsa. If you don’t want any spice, choose a mild green salsa. If you like more heat, choose medium or hot. Plus, you can always add jalapenos if you want something super spicy!
Service suggestion:
This dressing is perfect for green salads, pasta salads, and taco salads, or you can use it anywhere else you would use a regular ranch dressing. Dip your favorite raw veggies for a healthy dip, or even use it as a pizza dip! The possibilities are endless!
Storage Instructions:
Store dressing in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 10 days.
