Pork chops are one of our favorites in the kitchen. Growing up, we thought there was nothing better than steak – but we were wrong! Now, we absolutely love a good steak, and a good steak sure trumps dry pork chops, but did you know that pork chops don’t have to be tasteless and tough? When cooked properly, they rival any steak in juiciness and flavor. We know you get it because so many of you have raved about our perfect thick cut pork chops recipe. So, we thought it was time to share an easy grilled pork chops recipe for those who love boneless pork chops.

How thick should I use the pork chops?

It’s better if you buy pork chops sliced about 1 inch thick. This will help keep the meat from drying out. There is nothing worse than dry pork chops! Any meat thinner than 1 inch and you will most likely end up with dry, tasteless meat.

Baking time:

The amount of time you need to cook pork chops depends on the thickness of the meat, and whether or not it has bones. Searing the meat before roasting will also affect the cooking time. A good rule of thumb is usually seven minutes per half-inch of meat in a 400-degree Fahrenheit oven, but reduce that to five minutes per half-inch if you pre-roast the meat.

You may also need to add a few minutes to the cooking time if your pork chops have large bones.

What is a safe internal temperature for Easy Grilled Pork Chops?

Pork needs to be cooked to an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit.

Can I add vegetables?

This pork recipe can be easily added for a one-pot dinner. Toss some green beans or broccoli in olive oil, salt and pepper, and cook the pork along with it on a roasting pan.

Break time:

For the juiciest pork chops, let your meat rest for at least 5 minutes before slicing.
