Easy Creamy Grape Salad is super easy to make with just 7 simple ingredients and is always a hit at parties. It’s sweet, creamy, and a delicious side dish.

Grape salad is one of those classic side dishes you often see at holiday dinners. Now, salads aren’t usually our thing, but don’t let the name fool you because this salad is an exception. It’s unlike any other salad you’ve ever had…it’s sweet, creamy, nutty and fruity, all the flavors and textures work together perfectly. It’s like you’re eating dessert.

Nut Options:

Pecans are traditionally added to this salad for extra texture, but we’ve also had great success adding walnuts and cashews. Alternatively, you can always omit the nuts if desired.

Sour cream substitute:

For a healthier twist on this grape salad, replace the sour cream with plain Greek yogurt.

Sugar Substitution:

If you don’t want to add granulated sugar to your salad and prefer a more natural sweetener, go ahead and substitute honey for sugar.

Do I have to add coconut to the creamy grape salad?

You don’t have to add coconut of course. It’s completely optional in this dish, so if you’re not a coconut fan, just omit it from the recipe.
