Salmon is best baked at 350 to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. You want to cook it high enough that the heat can penetrate the fish quickly enough to cook the inside, but not so hot that the outer layers of the fish don’t dry out. 350 to 375 degrees is a good mid-range cooking temperature.

Easy Garlic Herb Roasted Salmon Topped with Fresh Chopped Parsley and Lemon Slices

  • 1 all salmon fillet
  • 2 tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 3 clove garlic minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley
  • 1/2 lemon thin slices

  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and lightly spray with nonstick cooking spray.

  • Place salmon fillets on prepared baking sheet.

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt, basil, oregano, and pepper. Pour directly over salmon and spread. Put lemon slices on top.

  • Pull the sides and ends of the foil up and pinch together, completely covering the salmon.

  • Bake in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until salmon flakes easily with a fork. Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
