The potatoes are baked in a delicious honey butter Dijon sauce. This is the perfect potato side dish to accompany your favorite steak or pork chops entree!

This is the best way to cook potatoes. It’s seriously addicting. They’re sweet, they’re salty, they’re flavored with mustard and onions. Even if we’re really not in the mood, we’ll end up eating the whole thing! It’s super easy to make and gives you plenty of time to prepare the main course. I usually serve these potatoes with a nice steak.

What really makes this dish is the honey butter sauce. Combining these two flavors is like stepping back into grandma’s kitchen with homemade cookies and freshly made honey butter. No two flavors go together quite like honey and butter. Add in the kick of Dijon mustard and now this is a sauce worth licking the bowl.

  • Potato Options:

Red potatoes are a favorite here, but you can really use any kind of potato. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can even try sweet potatoes.

  • Dairy Free:

If you want to make this dish dairy-free, all you need to do is swap out the butter with a stick of plant-based butter. Make sure to use a stick of butter, not margarine or a tub of butter substitute.

  • Storage and Reheating Instructions for Honey Baked Potatoes:

You can store potatoes in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. To reheat, either pop them in the microwave or add a tablespoon of oil to a pan and reheat on the stovetop over medium heat until heated through.
