Is bacon leftovers good?
Bacon is always good. In reality, though, leftover bacon doesn’t hold its crispness very well, so crumbled bacon is great as a topping or in baked goods. Why throw it away when you can use it for Cheesy Corn, Bacon, and Scallion Pizza?
How do you know when the bacon is done?
If you are using thin bacon or want soft, chewy bacon, then you should bake it for 15-20 minutes. Aim for 25-30 minutes if you are using thick cut bacon or want crispy bacon.
what should i use? baking sheet or parchment paper?
The best way to cook bacon in the oven is on parchment paper because it allows for easy cleanup. When done and cooled, simply roll all the grease onto the center of the parchment and toss! The bakeware works great and we like the reduced waste, but it does take more time to clean up to get all the grease off the sides of the mat.
