This recipe is perfect for warm weather. It can easily be made indoors on the stove using a skillet or griddle, or you can take it outside and cook it on the grill for another layer of smoky flavor. The mango avocado salsa is delicious on its own. This can easily be served with salad or rice.

  • 1 mango peeled and chopped
  • 1 Habañero pepper
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 Tilapia Fillet
  • Salt to try

  • 1 mango peeled and diced
  • 1 avocado Peeled, pitted and diced
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt to try

  • In a food processor or blender, combine the mango, habanero chiles, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, and olive oil. Blend until smooth.

  • Season tilapia lightly with salt. Pour or brush glaze over tilapia. Marinate for up to 30 minutes, if desired.

  • Combine the mango, avocado, and onion in a small bowl to make the salsa. Gently stir in cilantro, lemon juice, red pepper flakes, and salt to taste. on hold.

  • Cook tilapia in a heavy skillet over medium-high heat until cooked through and flakes easily with a fork, about 5 minutes per side.

  • Hot fish served with mango salsa.
