This Momofuku Milk Bar cereal milk imitation recipe is the perfect way to enjoy a popular New York City treat at home. It’s so amazing, you’ll think, “Why didn’t I think of that?”

We recently traveled to New York City. I have dreamed of going to Manhattan since I was a kid. I am obsessed with I love Lucy. As I got older, I was only introduced to more and more descriptions of life in the Big Apple. You’d think I’d plan a trip sooner, but alas, life…. Am I right?

I really want to take the kids on a spring break trip. I have had a lot of work to keep me very busy for the past 6 months and I knew our family needed something amazing. I asked the kids where they wanted to go, and my 6-year-old said, “I’d really like to see the Statue of Liberty.” The next thing I knew I was looking for a flight to JFK.

Like any foodie, I ate my way through New York, eating as many hot spots as I could. One of the places on my list is Momofuku Milk Bar. They are known for their cereal milk. You know how leftover milk in your cereal bowl tastes so good? Well, they took that concept and turned it into something amazing. They have really delicious soft cereal milk ice cream. They also only sell drinks. It’s so popular they sell a mix that lets you make your own cereal milk at home. So, of course, I knew I needed to bring a copycat recipe to all my followers. I just want to make restaurant quality recipes at home, and this one is so easy, you’ll wonder why you didn’t think of it in the first place!
