When it comes to dessert making, sometimes I just sit back and think about how to pack as many calories as possible into one bite. Let me tell you guys, I don’t know how many calories these brownies have per bite, but I’m guessing the number is insanely high. meaning is? These are some delicious brownies. I always combine cookie dough, brownies, and Oreos (hello, Coldstone!), so why not combine all three? I used my tried-and-true brownie recipe, added some Oreo chunks, and piled some eggless cookie dough on top, and let me tell you, the results were something straight from heaven.

raw material

  • 1 cup salted butter melted
  • 2 1/4 cup sugar
  • 4 big Egg
  • 1 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 12 Oreo Cookies roughly chopped

Cookie Dough Frosting

  • 1/2 cup butter soften
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar tightly packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 2-4 tablespoon water
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips

instruct

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9×13 glass pan with nonstick cooking spray.

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter and sugar. Add eggs, cocoa powder, salt, baking powder, and vanilla until everything is combined and smooth (use a hand mixer or stand mixer).

  • Whisk the flour with your hands, then carefully fold in the Oreos. You don’t want to crush them, so you still get the Oreo goodness.

  • Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes. Remove from oven when done and let cool completely before “frosting”.

Cookie Dough Frosting

  • Using a hand or stand mixer, combine the butter, brown sugar, and vanilla. Once smooth, add the flour, salt, and 2 tablespoons of water and mix to form a dough. Add more water as needed to create a spreadable icing. Stir in the chocolate chips.

  • To frost the delicious and well-chilled Oreo brownies, let the “icing” sit in the refrigerator for about an hour to make cutting easier.
