Slow Cooker Christmas Breakfast

So let me tell you why this should be your Christmas breakfast. Takes 6 hours in the slow cooker. Let’s face it, you’ll be sleeping until midnight playing Santa no matter what, and your kids will be up at sunrise. 6 hours sounds perfect. Not to mention that it’s basically a dessert we call breakfast. It’s a holiday! Do yourself a favor! Did I mention this only takes 5 minutes to put together? Psh, and get yourself a crockpot liner that you don’t even have to clean! I’ll even share a slow cooker tip from my upcoming slow cooker book as a little Christmas treat. Opposite the control panel is the hot side, which burns bread or something. Take a 12″ piece of aluminum foil and fold it in half lengthwise 3 times so you have an 8 piece barrier, 2″ high and 12″ long. Put it on the hot side of the pot, right in that stoneware bowl. It prevents your ingredients from touching extra hot spots and reduces your chances of burning your food.
