  • 1 1/2 pound developing peeled shrimp
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 pound Fettuccine
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley optional, for decoration


  • 1/4 cup salted butter
  • 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 4 cup Half and half
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt or tasting
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese


  • Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and sprinkle with salt, pepper and minced garlic.

  • Fry the shrimp for 4-5 minutes, or until they are no longer translucent and are fully cooked. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside. Reduce heat to low.

  • Cook lasagna according to package directions.

  • For the sauce, melt the butter in the same skillet as the shrimp over low heat. Add flour and increase heat to medium. Stir together and cook for 2 minutes, or until flour is light golden brown.

  • Slowly pour in half and half while stirring to combine. Add garlic powder and salt.

  • Bring the sauce to a simmer, stirring constantly. Just before it boils, add 1 1/2 cups of Parmesan cheese and stir until melted.

  • Add the cooked shrimp and pasta to the sauce and simmer for another 2 minutes. The sauce will thicken as it simmers and rests. For a thinner sauce, add extra half and half or pasta water. For a thicker sauce, add extra Parmesan cheese.

  • Serve with fresh grated Parmesan cheese and a garnish of chopped parsley (optional).
