Dairy Free Alternatives

If you’re looking for a dairy-free option, you can substitute vegan butter for the butter or simply use extra olive oil. You can also substitute dairy-free Parmesan for the Parmesan, or omit it entirely.

Shrimp Linguine vs. Traditional Shrimp Crawfish

While shrimp pasta and traditional shrimp crawfish both feature succulent shrimp cooked in a rich garlic sauce, there are some key differences between the two dishes. Shrimp Linguine combines the refreshing flavor of lemon juice and lemon zest with the light spice of chili flakes and is often served with pasta dishes. Shrimp, on the other hand, is a simpler dish, often served with a white wine and butter sauce, and can be served with a variety of pasta, rice, or even with crusty bread to soak up the delicious sauce. Shrimp Linguine adds grated Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley to give it an Italian twist that sets it apart from the classic Shrimp Scampi that many know and love.

service suggestion

Shrimp pasta can be served as a main course with a fresh green salad and crusty bread to soak up the delicious sauce. Or, pair it with steamed or roasted vegetables for a heartier meal. A refreshing white wine, such as Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio, will perfectly complement the flavors of this dish.
