Skillet Garlic Butter Pork Chops are a super delicious easy dinner made in one skillet with green beans!

Pork chops are a family favorite dinner recipe. You only need a few simple ingredients to make this delicious dinner. These short ribs are made in a skillet with green beans and slathered in a garlic butter sauce.

What cut of pork chops should I buy?

This recipe works for both boneless and bone-in center-cut ribs. Bone-in will ensure more even cooking, but it’s also delicious boneless.

What temperature does pork need to be cooked to?

Pork needs to be cooked to a minimum internal temperature of 145°F. The cooking time for the pork chops will vary slightly depending on the thickness of the pork chops. Use a meat thermometer for accuracy.

  • 2 Bone-in Center Cut Pork Chops 1/2 inch thick
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt Divided into
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper Divided into
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 clove garlic minced
  • 1 pound green beans Trimmed

  • Season both sides of pork chops with 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, and paprika.

  • Heat a large heavy skillet over medium-high heat.

  • Melt butter in skillet. Add pork chops on one side and fry for 3-5 minutes on each side. In the other half of the skillet, add the green beans and fry for 7 to 10 minutes, until crisp, while the pork chops cook on the other side.

  • Add the garlic to the butter in the bottom of the skillet and sauté with the green beans, cooking for a minute. Spoon the garlic butter over the ribs. Check the temperature of the pork and continue cooking as needed until the internal temperature of the pork reaches 145°F.

  • Serve hot, season to taste.
