I’ve been trying to expand the way I use watermelon. Summer means the killer feature of watermelon. I like to eat it slice by slice, but I want to make sure to show my family the many benefits of watermelon. I’m sure you remember my Cilantro Lime Grilled Watermelon. tasty. This salad is the same. A little wild, but very tasty. It harnesses all those fresh summer goodies to create a light, flavorful, and slightly adventurous watermelon salad that most people will find refreshing. This is the perfect summer side dish for those looking to stretch out. Come on, see what watermelon has to offer!

raw material

4 cups cubed seedless watermelon
1 cucumber, peeled and diced
1 TB.chopped fresh mint leaves
1 TB.chopped fresh basil leaves
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro leaves
1 avocado, cored and diced
2 limes, juiced

instruct

1. Combine watermelon, avocado, cucumber, mint, basil, and cilantro leaves in a large mixing bowl.

2. Add the avocado and pour the lime juice over the salad, stirring carefully so as not to mash the avocado too much.

3. Cool until ready to serve.

Avocado, cucumber, and watermelon are tossed with lime juice and fresh herbs in this light, flavorful, and slightly adventurous watermelon salad.
